I repaired disk permissions today, and I noticed this error. I was wondering what could be causing this?

Prior to this, Launchpad crashed while I was rearranging some app icons. The pixels on icons suddenly became huge, and my wallpaper turned grey. Then Finder automatically quit and relaunched...

Will this affect my computer's system performance?
