I've started using Acompli on my iPhone and found it is rather good, however I'm hung up about the address book.

The app doesn't appear to have access to my contacts and my global address book linked to my mail account. Much like the standard Mail iOS app does.

Can anybody verify whether this is standard behaviour?

Currently I have to either type in the email address or hope its stored in the recent people category.

Thanks.

I can get to my iPhone contacts just fine and it pulls from the Exchange account global directory very quickly. Maybe you accidentally denied access when you installed it? Delete and reinstall, make sure you allow access to your contacts.

Nope, deleted and added my exchange account. No luck, it won't search through the address book.

It doesn't ask for permission to use the address book either :/
