From 2005-July 2008, I used my iMac desktop for most of my computing needs. For downloads, I used the program Acquisition. When I bought my new MacBook Pro this summer, I thought I might try out Limewire and see if I liked it better than Acquisition. Now that I have realized I really don't like Limewire, I have downloaded Acquisition onto my MBP. But it will not connect to any of the networks available! I have gone through all the troubleshooting on the website, and nothing! Could Limewire be screwing with the settings? Any suggestions?

Acquisition P2P Not Working... Limewire's Fault?

Acquisition not functioning
Hey, i also ran into to some trouble with Acquisition. Now i believe acquisition is probably one of the better P2P software out there i have recently started to feel down about it. the problem i ran into is that my AQ will connect but no files pop up. I do not have anything being filtered so that shouldnt be a problem.
As far as your situation i dont know what to say but i have a felling its probably the same problem.
