OK my brothers..... we are migrating to OSX on our G4s with the latest Adobe CS software (have been Adobe ASN members for 3 years) My question is this: When we receive PDFs from our somewhat uninformed customers who use an assortment of non-professional printing applications such as MS Word, Publisher, etc. or think that Freehand is a page layout appllication, we are often faced with the problem of embeded RGB graphics, not to mention missing fonts and other nightmares. What I want to know from those who have been using Acrobat 6 pro is; When we receive PDFs like mentioned can you convert RGB images to either Grayscale or CMYK in Acrobat? And or convert RGB to spot colors, or do we really need to get Enfocus Pit Stop? or another 3rd party editing package. We are installing a Sonnet ZIFF G4-800 CPU in the G3 intead of getting a new machine, So in effect we will have a G4 running OS 10.3 with 768mb RAM.

Any thoughts out there?
