Acrobat Pro 9 sluggish

Hi, I have an issue with my Acrobat that when I am previewing PDFs and more importantly reading sticky notes I find that when I click on the sticky and highlight the text to copy and past the whole PDF blinks on and off slowing the whole preview experience right down.

Is there a setting I can adjust to help this similar to the lag in InDesign when you have "Live screen drawing" set to on.

Nope.

Heavily annotated PDFs (particularly complex, pre-print sort of PDFs) slow things down.

At least it's not legacy PPC code anymore.

Maybe Acrobat 10 will be better...
