Action Button - Bug with Focus Mode?

When I configure the Action Button for Focus, turnng on that focus from the button has the effect of preventing my other time or location triggered Focuses from kicking off. Anyone else experiencing this, or is it an issue with my phone?

I had problems with focus on the action button. So I tried focus manually and had the same problems. I think focus isn’t working right and hope upcoming release fixes it.
