I feel like I am going crazy, and this is a feature that existed but was then taken away.

I have an AWU2, and am trying to use it to track workouts. My use case is pretty simple... I have a running trail available to me, but I walk to get to the trail. So I have created a custom outdoor run workout, with a warmup (open), work (open), cooldown (open) setup.

I swear there used to be a setting for the Action button where the first press would open the Workout app, and a subsequent press (in a workout) would take you to the next interval. So once I complete my walk to the trail, I can press the action button one time and it will move to the next interval.

This is absolutely unreliable - during today's workout, I pressed the action button and got the orange "next interval" screen. But, it didn't actually do it, and my stats are all messed up because it combined my run and walk into the one warmup stage. I tested it at home and it worked as expected!

What settings do I check? I thought there was a dedicated setting for "second press" but I can no longer find it. Is this unreliable for anyone else?

I've noticed that a second press no longer starts a workout. When I do an outdoor walk/run, I used to push the Action button once to open the Workouts app, then select my workout, and pressing the Action button again would start the workout. It no longer does it, I have to swipe right on the screen and choose Start from there. The second push of the Action button makes the screen momentarily flash orange, but it doesn't do anything else.

Yep, that's what I'm seeing too -- except for when I'm intentionally testing it. Very frustrating.
