I have a 2G iPhone that I want to activate but iTunes keeps asking for my current AT&T number. I want to set this up as a new number, not transfer my number to this phone. I went through with this and the phone activated with the same number as my 3G S and in a minute, my 3G S was no longer activated.

How do I get this 2G iPhone activated on a new line using iTunes? It seems like it's not like it used to be.
