Hi,

Hope some one can help me activate my brand new iPhone 4S.

Here's what happened....I bought the phone in the UK from Car phone warehouse, the phone was supposed to be first sim lock. Which was fine.

I did not use the phone while in UK, once I came back to Australia I put in the sim I wanted to use, but the phone won't activate.

I just get a message saying that the sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported. It is the first sim I used in the phone.

I am not sure what to do now, can anyone please help?

Thanks
Sahil

You shouldve checked whether it was sim free before and after buying it. But if its from carphone warehouse im pretty sure its unlocked...
Who were u with in the UK? Vodafone? Three? O2?

Go to your carrier and ask for a replacement sim. It could be a faulty sim.

If not you might have to call the place you bought it from and try and explain the situation and see if they can tell you what to do.
