Activate TRIM through terminal

Did anyone use the following method to activate TRIM on their MBP?

If so, how has it faired? My main concerns are if you experience any beachballs, battery life hits, or any other problems?

Previously tried this method and it did not work for my 2011 MBP and Intel 510 SSD. On the flip, Trim Enabler did work and I've not had any negative effects.

Worked fine for me, you have to read the instructions very carefully. Didn't work at first because I didn't read it carefully enough.

But is working and working fine for me, no problems at all with Lion.

I used that method, copying and pasting the commands into the Terminal and it worked for me.
