So I was so happy I finally was able to activate my iPhone 4 facetime with my Tmobile account. The only problem is that I now have international text message charges on my bill. Apparently Facetime triggers an international text to this number 447785016005 in the UK which cost money even on an unlimited messaging plan.

iPhone 4 users for T-Mobile beware!

I'm not sure how this text is triggered but I turned off Facetime for now.The goodthing is that I called Tmobile and they were able to waive my charges.

How much is one international text?

Also, “Waah, I’m using my phone unlawfully and it is costing me money!” ;)

This a known problem with FaceTime on T-Mobile (and other non-official carriers). There is a $5 package in Cydia that will activate FaceTime on T-Mobile which I understand includes a credit to cover the international text charge(s).
