Hi, I'm new to these forums and would really like help with my iPhone.
I have a 2G iPhone running on firmware 3.0 on O2 pay & go sim. I jail broke my iPhone and installed ActivateMMS - following all the instructions.
I managed to receive MMS messages (I only tried one message) just like you would on an iPhone 3G (ie. the photo appeared in my messages inbox). Less than a day later I received a message from O2 telling me they are about to set up my picture messaging, then received another to say I had an iPhone 2G and it wasn't possible so they would send me a link to retrieve my picture.
The next message I received was displayed as a link with a PIN so I checked my MMS settings and found they were blank. After finally finding a way to have the settings save to my phone I tried again but still only received a link.
Does anyone know a way around this? Maybe to disable to O2 picture message link service? I spent so much time setting everything up only for O2 to "block" it.
I've called O2 four times now and they either talk over me every time I try to explain or they continually tell me that there is nothing that they can do.

I love my iPhone but no MMS is seriously retarded for a "smart" phone.
