Activating Front Row while in screen saver--doesn't work

I have found that I cannot activate Front Row with the remote if my screen saver has activated. I'll hit the menu button (or any button on the remote), but all it does is momentarily dim the image. Is there anyway to fix this without changing my screen saver settings? Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I've seen the exact same problem. I think it is a bug that has not been fixed as of 10.5.2. There is also a thread on Apple Discussions about this problem.
