Hey,

So, I was wondering if anyone knew if AT&T still gave out unlimited iPhone 2G plans on new accounts? I got an old iPhone 2G, figure I would activate it, get the unlimited data, and then upgrade to an iPhone 5 this summer(with unlimited data!) Tried asking the people at the AT&T store, but they had no clue about the plans still offered for the 2G. Thanks!

why not just call ATT and see what they can hook you up with?

They didn't know because they make zero dollars off of you buying your phone elsewhere and activating it. Now, if you were to buy a 3GS or 4, their tune would change.

Yes, you can buy/use a 2G to get unlimited now and then get a 5 when they come out.
