Activating iPhone on Second Line only of Existing AT&T Account

Anyone done this? I presume they just add the $20 data fee, but are there any additional wrinkles to activating an iPhone on the second line of an AT&T account where the primary line is not an iPhone?

no issues at all-- i have a family plan with four phones and only one is an iPhone-- it is not the main number

I just activated my account yesterday and it looks like that is what happens. It appears I still have the family plan I share with my wife, just with $20 data plan added to it now.
