Activating Iphone4 through AT&T

I was just wondering if anyone might know whether the iphone4s are specific to the activation number that AT&T sends through email. My husband and I ordered 2 phones in 1 order but only one activation number was sent to us. Our order was just processed this morning and should be here on Monday (Finally!)

Does that mean you can use the same activation number twice if we were to activate our phones at different times?

I got mine at the Apple store, the phone was activated through iTunes. No activation codes were typed in. Maybe AT&T is doing something differently?

I forgot to mention that we ordered through the website since we have a premier account and also since I wasn't sure that there were any at the Apple store. This is the first time I've ordered my Iphone online rather than directly from the Apple store. I've had the 1st gen Iphone and the currently have the Iphone 3g.
