I'm giving my iPhone1 to a family member...i thought I could just go home and activate it like I did one year ago.

But even after doing a full erase of setting and account info, I plug it into itunes and it still has my phone number stored. How do I go about giving her this iphone and setting it up for her account...do I have to go into a store?

Thanks

I'd imagine it's reading it off the SIM. Go to an AT&T store and get a new one. I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

Does she already have an AT&T SIM or are you trying to reuse your old SIM?
