Activation Help

I just ordered a 16 gb refurb iPhone from the att online store and it should be here within a couple days. The only problem with that is that my grandparents will be gone on a trip by the time it comes in when I will be activating it, so I need to tell them by today or tomorrow what information I need to activate the iPhone on their plan before they leave.

So what exact information is required for iPhone activation on a current family plan?

Also, with unlimited texting and the data plan being 40 usd, will there also be a 10 usd extra charge every month just for adding another line on the plan?

yes it is an additional $10/month to add a phone line.
You need

Name on the account
primary phone number
bill address
SSN (i think)

As far as the SSN goes, you'll need the SSN of the account holder.
