Hey, I recently found a lost Ipad Air and tried to contact the number on the activation lock screen but the number is out of service so I decided to keep the ipad seeing as its been half a year and there has been no contact of the owner trying to get it back. But I am stuck at the activation lock screen and was wondering if there is anyway to get the full use of the ipad.

Thanks

I was thinking is there any hardware I can replace, like the memory where the activation lock is stored, probably not but I really dont want a paperweight hahah

There are no user-replaceable parts on the logic board. There's nothing you can do short of having the entire board replaced.
