Activation Problem - Says it is Activated but still doesn't like SIM

So this iphone was 1.1.1, I used iFuntastic to downgrade it to 1.0.2 and jailbreak it. I then opened iActivator, did all the stuff and activared it.

BUT

No cell service? Do I have to phone my provider-Rogers-and tell them I have a new cell phone?

All I did was take out my Rogers SIM from my old cell & pop it into the iphone then run the activation. Does Rogers need to know the new IMEI or whatever number?
