After borrowing my mother's headphones to mow the lawn the other day, I've decided to get some similar headphones. She has these sony headphones, and they worked amazingly well, they eliminated most of the noise, but I did notice that they did let through some of the higher pitched noise (the lawnmower sounded much quieter, but higher pitched than usual).

After that experience, I did some research, and found that sony has these headphones available as well, they cost the same, but apparently eliminate 12dB, and have 13.5 mm drivers (the first headphones eliminate 10dB, and have 9 mm drivers).

My question is, does anyone have experience with both of these pairs of headphones, and if so, which are better? Also, if anyone has recommendations from other companies, feel free to suggest them. I am not looking for large headphones, just earbuds with active noise canceling. Don't bother suggesting anything else, I'll ignore it.
