AW Series 6. Does anyone else have their watch pause their activity during colder weather? 32-40f? Mine seems to happen quite frequently. Resetting did not help. I have auto-pause turned off.
I un-pause it and it re-pauses in about 20 seconds.

Is it possible that there is moisture from your sleeve affecting the screen? What happens if you turn on the "water" mode at the start of the exercise?

I had something similar and I suspect that this was the issue - snow/ice was melting onto the display. A subsequent exercise with the "water" feature turned on and no issues.

Sleeve/arm is bone dry. I have not tried the water mode though-thanks for the suggestion. I have had other people use their watch down to 10F without pausing issues.

Thanks, please let me know how you get on. I'll let you know if I have a recurrence of the issue too. I was out yesterday in 21F and no issues (with "water" on). But when I was out a few days earlier (with precipitation) it was closer to 30F.

Will do. This is maddening but if the water mode works I will thrilled. Thanks again.

It's not just moisture. Some fabric just seems to activate the screen. I've had the watch do unexpected actions like you describe when I was just wearing long sleeves with totally dry sleeve/arm. For me, turning on water lock has worked.
