Have had my apple watch for just over a week.

I know when you closed a ring you'd get the animation firework - but this has disappeared.

I've read various things online - anyone have this issue.

I have AW5 GPS running 6.2.6.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Probably doesn't seem like a huge deal but to me it is.

I know this thread is dated, but I have noticed the same issues recently. Used to get the rings animation regularly but it’s hit or miss now. When I have reached all three rings closed in a day the 3 rings animation also is hit or miss. I noticed this mostly after I have my exercise ring being closed after a workout. Then later when the stand and active calories close I don’t get the animation.

This problem affects a lot of people, including me. I'm not aware of an answer except that turning the power off and back on may help briefly. And notifications to be enabled in the control center. They get turned off at night and I think sometimes they do not get turned back on.

It's very frustrating that one of the nicer, "unexpected" features of this expensive doodad can't be made more reliable. For the people that care about the animation, it should be a top priority that no other app or setting can intrude upon.

When I complete the 3 rings, it sends me a notification on the clock, without animation of any kind, at least that I have seen. When I see an animation like this, it's when I complete the ring of calories burned while doing a workout in fitness+, and I see it on the iphone screen, not on the clock.
