Hello,

I am wondering if anybody can tell me what a green marked day means (7,8,9,10,11,13 in the attached screenshot).

I did finish all circles on the 14th as well so I was wondering about the meaning of the green marked dates.

Best,
Oliver

No, it did not, as there are days with completed workouts in the screenshot that did not have the green mark.

I'll let you re-read the OPs reply to that.

Make sure you read the line marked "EDIT" also, this time

I saw his post and the edit, No need to be a condescending dick. Explain the 4th, 5th & 6th, in the screenshots having completed rings, but no green mark.

EDIT: Also, the all the rings are showing as completed on the 12th.

Well what does "exceeding one complete ring" mean to you? It would be exceeding your calorie goal by one, your exercise goal by one and your stand goal by one. Having two of each ring filled would be so unlikely (24 hours of standing) that can't possibly be what you meant...

That aside, you pointed out that your theory doesn't work for four of the days on the screenshot.

It could, however, be that OP didn't work out on those days and simply filled his rings with a brisk walk to work, climbing stairs etc without specifically logging a workout on his watch.

Note also the removal of the word activities from the top right of the page. This is a drop down that could also select "workouts" - to show if you logged a workout that day. this was represented by a green circle of the same colour as these screenshots, but instead replacing the activity ring completely. This would appear to be a UI change to show both at the same time.

It gets a little stranger. I am a 100%er since launch day. However as an AppleSeed beta tester I had to do a restore on July 1 and because of a bug in beta iOS 9 I lost about 40 days (lapping 3 months ) of data. I still got a green dot on the 27 (also July 1) that were not 'completed'.

My screenshot disproves your through too, I have green dots, without completing any of the three rings on various days....

How do you reach that conclusion? Actually it proves it.

A completed workout means running a workout on the watch, and completing it. It doesn't have anything to do with filling the activity rings. Indeed the workout could only be 2 minutes and 10 calories.

I don't run the workout on a weekend, yet I have a green dot for a Saturday.... That's why it disproves what you said.

Edit: Attached screenshot.

That's not what you said in the last post.

Anyway. Perhaps proving what I said is the wrong way to say it, and if what you said is true then it's something else (although you haven't shown us the detailed page for that day... Perhaps you did that day, whether on purpose or by accident). It definitely disproves your idea of it being linked to the three rings, however.

That's odd. Do you still have a workout from that day?

Yes, it proves me wrong too, I hadn't looked until I went to check after my first post in this thread. I did attach a screenshot of the day to prove it to you.

Nope, here's Friday. Showing the workout done then, which is a green dot day.

How about the next day?

There's the screenshots for Sunday 6 and Monday 7th. The workout was started at 11.45pm on the 6th and ended just after midnight. As you can see they don't tally up. Has the same thing happened with yours?

The next day was the screenshot before that. I've put up Sunday, then the day before (Saturday) then the day before (Friday) they are 3 sequential days.

edit: Here they are in sequential order...
