I have three watches that I use with my 6S+ and I switch watches sometimes just to switch watches and sometime simply when one needs charged, I'll wear another one.
My ceramic edition watch was still paired to my 6S from the last time I wore it BUT I had to restore that phone to a previous backup which wiped out all activity data for that phone. Again, the watch was still paired to the phone but no longer actually paired due to the restore.
Today I took that watch which was at 81% battery after 3-4 days of just sitting there and it had all the stats from when I last wore the watch paired to the 6S.
I restored the watch from the watch itself. I then paired it to my 6S.
Yesterday was my second day off for the week and I was lazy and had no exercise minutes and almost 300 calories in. As soon as the watch paired to my 6S+ just a few minutes ago, I was awarded 417 calories, 33 exercise minutes and 18 stand hrs.
This is the second time I've noticed weird things happening simply from switching watches. On Mother's day, I was awarded the Mothers day award simply be switching watches and I hadn't even been out to walk yet.
Check out my screen cap from yesterday. Notice it gave me 33 minutes but in the graph below, there is nothing.
