wondered if anyone could help me, set up my new Apple Watch and many of the activity awards I’ve been collecting since Apple Watch Series 3 first came out haven’t synced over. I’ve tried everything I can think of - checked all settings on the phone, the Watch app and the Watch itself, I’ve unpaired and repaired the phone, set up as new, set up from backup - everything. I’ve had 4 watches since S3 and never had this issue when setting up a new one

All the awards are showing up on my Fitness app on iPhone but on the Watch none of the monthly or special awards are showing up (but the rest of the awards do).

Anyone got any ideas? Thank you!

if they're on your phone, they'll eventually show up on the watch

It's been 4 days now still not showing up. It's only the Monthly Challenges that aren't showing – everything else is there (which is odd as you'd have thought they'd have saved in the same place as the rest of my award history?). The only thing I can hope now, unless they do just show up, is that on Oct 1 with a new monthly challenge might knock it into gear.

‘Hope it works out. I have heard of people who lost everything and had to start over after two-three years of using the Apple Watch. No guarantees here, we are at the mercy of Apple.

Was just about to post an update this evening saying those awards I mentioned still are not showing, then saw this in the 9.0.2 update notes. Downloading now with my fingers crossed it fixes it!

So that that why my wife whines about her Watch not working with the Peloton Bike+? I watched her do it, and it failed. I quipped 'quality control'?

I did the update yesterday and my 2,199 day streak is now at 59 days. Did a hard reboot of the watch, closed and reopened the app on my phone, still at 59 days. I'll give it 24 hours and see if everything syncs up.

Any update? Same issue with mine. Everything has showed up except the monthly challenges. It still shows up on my phone Activity app. It’s been two weeks and it still hasn’t showed back up. I updated to Ultra and went back to my 5. This is annoying.

Yes, my watch finally synced. I'm back at my 2212-day move streak. I didn't really do anything, it just finally corrected itself. Sorry you're dealing with this. It is annoying. I was really bummed that my streak had seemed to disappear.

When I updated from the Series 2 to the Series 4, I lost all of my Awards. Went to the Apple store and spent hours there with them trying to fix it. They were never able to fix it and weren't sure what to do. They had me call online support. Spent several hours with online support doing all that they suggested and they never came back. They ultimately said to give it some time and it would ultimately sync. Never did. Back then when I googled it, there were others who have experienced the same thing. I waited for them to "sync" as the online support told me to do. They never came back. Here I am several iterations of Apple Watch later and I never got them back.

Prior to this happening I was dogmatic about getting all of the special awards and the regular ones. After I lost a bunch of them I've never paid attention to them again knowing that it's possible that when I upgrade to a new Apple Watch in the future I may lose the other ones again. Your mileage may vary but be prepared for never getting them back. It has happened to many people.

I upgraded from a Series 3 to the Ultra at the weekend. Went out with it and got congratulated on a new fastest half marathon even though I’d run many significantly faster on the series 3. Really annoying!

Nice. I unpaired (again) and repaired and it finally brought them all back. Glad we are both good.
