Just curious how many columns show up in Activity Monitor for the new Macbook Pros? My older i5 MBP shows 4 columns representing 2 cores and 2 threads per core (Hyperthreading), I'm curious if the new one shows 8 columns. If it does, mind sharing a screenshot?

Thanks,

Paul

nope, 8 thread machines only show a single conglomerated cpu usage box, have to bring up seperate CPU panel if want individual views.

Screen shot from 2011 MBP 2.2ghz Core i7 with BOINC running projects. ;)

It shows 8 threads when you double click on the single cpu graph.
