I have my activity monitor set to show cpu-usage in the dock and it keeps crashing - about twice a day. Sometimes the monitor itself uses 60% of the CPU and is on top of the energy consumption list.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Already did a VRAM reset and "the other usually recommended thing" (cant remember right now)

I did have it when I did have my 2016 model.
I think it's a software bug, I'm know that it is a bug.
Wait for 10.12.4 or try to reinstall macOS 10.12.3.

Boot mbp up with cmd+r and then just choose reinstall macOS it should not delete anything from your computer but as always have a backup.
