Apps Activity or Fitness??

I’m just curious here but which name is correct for the Activity/Fitness app. In a previous update the “Activity” app was renamed “Fitness” however, if you look it didn’t change names everyplace. Watch app list still says “Activity”, complication lists it as “Activity”. iPhone icon shows “Fitness” but when you open the app it says “Activity”

Okay. I know this is minor but why doesn’t Apple make it uniform across all devices? They want to change the name but they only do it in one place. The app works fine for me. I’m an uber organized type person and these little differences drive me crazy.🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀

yep, noticed that over the past couple weeks too. This kind of inconsistency indicates to me that the actual OS release(s) was just a bit premature ...

I noticed the same thing today after wanting to change settings in the FITNESS app on my iPhone.

I looked in SETTINGS and thought I was blind, couldn’t find the FITNESS app.

I later looked in the WATCH app on my iPhone and still couldn’t find the FITNESS app. The only app I found was the ACTIVITY app.

Come on APPLE, is it FITNESS or ACTIVITY....... and to make it more complicated do we look in the HEALTH app ?

I never look in the HEALTH app, it’s a mess with info you can find in the FITNESS app, or is it the ACTIVITY app ? Or should I start looking in the HEALTH app for my workouts ?

just installed watchOS 6.2 and iOS 14.3 - still called "Activity" on watch and "Fitness" on phone
