Activity Sharing/Competition

Curious if anyone has run into the issue of not being able to share activity rings or compete with other apple watch owners. No matter what I try my friends don't get my sharing invite or my compete invite. I have tried:

1) Resetting the apple watch and doing a clean install
2) Updated to the latest watch OS
3) Signed out of icloud, turned off phone, signed backed on
4) Signed out of icloud, turned off imessage, turned everything off and then signed back in

Any help is greatly appreciated, seems to be an issue with my watch as my friends have tried it with other people and they had no issues.

I am able to accept people’s requests. But I’ve noticed that our points are typically not in sync with each other. We’ve both reset the watches but still run into trouble. Figured it’s probably just a software bug and it will be fixed soon enough.

HAHAHA...could be but I doubt it; they were actually able to see me and accept the competition, I just never received anything.

I am in the same boat since S2... didn't really bother to fix it since not a lot of my friends have an apple watch at that time. Now they do and the problem still exists after upgrading to a S4.

My problem is that even though my friend accepted the invitation, it will still show "awaiting for reply" on my end even though they see mine on their phone but not their watch. If I accepted their invitation instead, it will show up on my phone briefly but not my watch. At a random time, it will disappear and show up as "waiting for my accept" again.

I have contacted apple and they gathered a bunch of data from my phone and watch and said will call back in a week... we will see.

I was able to finally fix the issue on my end....I have 2 separate Apple ID’s, one for my purchases and then one for my iCloud. I ended up signing out from both and then signing back on with just 1 Apple ID and that fixed the issue. Worth a try on your end....Good Luck

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it but still didn't work though. I even tried signing out of all my devices but still no go...
