Activity Sharing woes

Is anyone else having issues with Activity Sharing? I have three friends so far but one continually stops working. It works for 24 hours or so then the next day he stays on 0%.

We have both unpaired and repaired our watches, it helped as it worked for a few days then stopped again. We both have iCloud with loads of spare storage, I always work for him on his phone but not the other way. We have deleted and re-invited each other and nothing helps.

At the minute he only updates on my phone when he does an actual workout, nothing else.

Anyone any ideas what could be wrong?

Activity sharing isn't updated live. It updates in blocks, every few hours usually. I've seen it take 12+ hours to update.

Yes but he stays at 0% while my other friends all update regularly. Only time his updates is when he completes a workout

That is very typical from the way I have seen it with my friends. Once updates every few hours, the other updates after a workout or reaching a goal. I don't think there is anything necessarily wrong, its just how it is because its not live.

Well it's pretty useless then as the whole idea is to see your friends activity and use it to push yourself. My other friends update every 15 mins or so from my experience but one doesn't. I think it's just buggy at the minute to be honest.

I have seen this behavior as well. I have 5 friends on my list and only 2 update frequently. The others maybe a couuple times a day
