Quick question as I await my Apple Watch.
I currently own a Vivofit, and one of the things I like about it is that it shows a red line when I have been inactive for too long, and the line fills the longer I've been sedentary. When I get up off my ass the line slowly disappears.

I know the Apple Watch has a reminder to stand, but does it have something equivalent to Vivofit's functionality? I find it to be a very good reminder to get moving. Does the Apple Watch's stand reminder just come at regular intervals? Does it take into account my current activity? Is just standing for 5 seconds enough?

Is this something that a third party app would have to take care of?

Thanks!
