Hello :)

Basically I have a few videos from iMovie that I want to upload to YouTube. I have horrifically slow upload speeds so it will take 7-8 hours for me to upload a video that is around 10 minutes long, so I generally do it overnight.

However, I don't want to leave the display on for this long. Is there anyway I can turn the display off, while the video continues to upload to YouTube?

Any help would be appreciated! :D

System Preferences > Energy Saver > slide the Display Sleep slider to whatever you want. You can also set a hot corner (try typing "hot corners" into the search box in System Preferences) to manually sleep your display on demand.

Also, take the money you save on your electricity bill and get a faster upload speed ;)

Thanks for your help. I have been into Energy saver multiple times, I don't know how I missed it!

And I'm a student living with the parents still. If I could change providers or move to a different package I would! Thanks again! :D
