Is it possible to download audio using the activity window a la youtube videos?
I've tried and so far have come up empty handed.

I tried using Audacity and that drove me up the wall.
I couldn't figure how to use it so I uninstalled it before I chucked my iMac out the window.

I want to give Audio Hijack a whirl but before I do, I want to know if I can use the activity window to download music.

I've been trying to download from here but each and every time, I come up empty handed.

Help?

Audio Hijack Pro costs money while Youtube to MP3 by MediaHuman does not. Try the MediaHuman alternative, it's what I use and so far, I haven't had any problems!

No, that music is streamed instead of loaded and then played, thus there is no way to download it directly. You'll have to use something that records it as it's played.

thanks for the response.
i know youtube downloads and the audio i want is not on youtube.

Is that audio recording longer than ten minutes? If not, try Audio Hijack Pro, which has already been mentioned.

And if it is longer, you maybe could provide use with information what exactly you want to download, as there may be a way to do it, though it depends, what it is you want to download.
