Hey everyone -

I used the Workout app this afternoon to track my walk that lasted over 19 minutes. I saved the workout and usually the Activity app updates the number of exercise minutes by adding the time from the workout I saved. However, today the Activity app didn't do that and is now telling my my total exercise time is 17 min.

I've tried rebooting my iPhone and Watch, but nothing changed.

Anyone else have this happen?

Total exercise follows a formula that involves movement + elevated hear rate. I don't think any of us know for sure what that heart rate has to exceed to be considered exercise.

my buddy and I were throwing a frisbee around downstairs during lunch and it registered 27 minutes of exercise for me. Not sure how it calculates that unless my heart rate was always above 100bpm?

Gotcha, but if I'm using the Workout app and selecting an exercise shouldn't all that time count as actual exercise? ;-)
