I'm finding that my Activity and Health data is taking hours to sync from my Watch to my iPhone, and sometimes not until the next day. It seems to be ok in the mornings but almost seems to shut down in the evening. For example, my morning cycle to work will sync back to my phone almost straight away, my activity rings sync fairly quickly during the day, but my cycle home from work and my night activity aren't making it to my phone. I have tried restarting the Watch and my phone, unpairing, repairing, but that only works sometimes - usually that data will not sync to my phone until the next morning.

I use an app to track my food intake and my exercise so it's very annoying having basically half my exercise missing until the next day. I could almost understand if it was consistent but I don't understand why it works perfectly fine during the day but stops working properly at night. Has anybody experienced this and/or know of a solution? Is this something Apple are addressing with watchOS 2?

Mine are sometimes in sync and sometimes not; it seems more random than morning and evening though.

I haven't tried unpairing and re-pairing. Is there any risk of losing activity data doing that? (Probably a stupid question, but I do fear losing my activity data!)

Thanks, so synced data should stay. The activity app on my phone has got its knickers in a twist somewhat (I switched everything on after a flight in the hour that meant took phone and watch back to Monday when they'd quite decided it was already Tuesday) but I think I may just see what happens as my first approach.
