Actor Shia LaBeouf, who starred as a motorcycle-riding greaser in the latest "Indiana Jones" film, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving early Sunday in Hollywood after he and two other people were hurt in a crash.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said LaBeouf made a left turn and collided with an oncoming car about 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of La Brea and Fountain avenues. The actor's Ford F-150 pickup truck rolled over in the crash.

LeGoof arrested again. Let's hope this is the end of this no-talent's career. :)

I don't really care how they are in real life. But when they show up to annoy me in films I want to see, it becomes a problem. ;)

It is exaggeration, but he's one of the worst I've seen in some time. It makes me ill when guys like this get great roles that other, better actors would kill for. And clearly this dope doesn't appreciate what he's been given. If he were really good, it would be one thing. But he's average to bad.
 
I don't have a problem with Shia -- I think he's been fortunate to be cast in such big blockbusters so early in his career (Transformers, Indiana Jones, Disturbia).

I thought he did a pretty good job in those movies, but I admit, he seems to be in EVERY movie now.

I don't pity anybody who drinks and drives, whether they are celebrities, strangers, friends, or family and I'm not about to now -- if true, he's a dumb***
 
I find it abhorrent that Shia LaBeouf and so many others in Hollywood (Matthew Perry, Lindsay Lohan) seem to face such lenient penalties for driving while intoxicated. Instead of there being any kind of outrage, it almost seems like it's a joke, and that it's OK; it's just those silly actors.

spoken well. it is a joke. if you or i tried that, we'b be in the slammer faster than a fat kid on smarties.

it's such a double standard. look at leonard little....the dude killed a lady while drunk driving and he's still playing. in fact, was it last year or the year before, but i think he got another DD conviction! just brutal.

i think lebeouf's been ok in the movies i've seen with him, but i don't hate him. no actor or actress really annoys me. I just don't understand how something/someone on screen could annoy oneself.

looking forward to transformer 2 next year ! :)

Well at least he didn't hurt anybody...... on that note, I think this thread is funny...........

He doesn't bother me to much... no real love or hate for him. Just sort of blah.

You say again, I take it he has been picked up before? Hmm very interesting.

Shia is okay. Nothing to get too excited over, but not horrible. Defintely lucky to be where he is, and lucky to be alive today, too.

That's an argument that is used too often. Actually, if ever used it is used too often. Sure, the penalties should be greater when someone is hurt, but the fact that he (allegedly) did something that was careless and clearly risky to others' well being, he should be penalized as such.

... and the above almost applies as well to his acting as it does his drunk driving. :D
