Can anyone recommend a Mac malware scanner that only scans for Mac malware, and does not find 300 instances of unopened Windows malware in my email archives? So far, all the scanners I've tried seem to find only Windows malware, but fail to mark them as such—making them even less than utterly useless.
It seems like there should be no problem actually recognizing Mac-specific malware, and that the primary reason malware vendors list Windows malware is to make them look like they're doing something useful. And yes, I know that Macs can spread Windows malware without being affected by it, but the odds of that are extremely low and showing the Windows crap—especially without marking it as such—only makes it impossible to find actual threats to my own computer.
