Hi all,

I was just wondering, can anyone who has an 8GB iPhone tell me how much actual usable memory there is that can be filled up with videos/music etc...?

I don't suppose they give you a full 8GB? Does someone have the exact figure?

7.3GB

Thanks.

Would it make a difference to how quick the device runs if I fill say 7.2GB worth of stuff or should I leave a gig or so spare for RAM requirements?

I really don't think it makes a difference. I filled up my phone and only had about 150 megs of space left, and it still ran like it did when nothing was on it.
