to promote games/programs shown in signature. remember poster is a vendor

Which could be construed as a rules violation under the following clauses:

As a representative of a vendor business you may post about your company or products or services when the following 5 conditions apply:

The purpose of the post is to help forum members, not merely to benefit your organization.

Which that vendor's post does not do. Also:

These habits can produce warnings and repeated violations can produce bans.

Useless and one-word posts. Do not bother making posts with only one or two words (e.g., "cool" or LOL) or a smilie, or post simply to have the first reply in a thread. Such posts waste everyone's time and will be deleted. Posts saying "I agree", "+1", "this", "me too", or the equivalent are also routinely removed, so don't post them. If you aren't interested in a thread, skip the thread; don't post to tell us you aren't interested.

Part of the problem is the way IOS puts the web browser in a sandbox so the adblock type stuff doesn't work.

However, I do remember reading something either here or on another forum, about something that would help..I think in the nature of a vpn that did the blocking.. Unfortunately I don't remember where I read it..sigh..getting old..

Then why post?

OP, you can try this. I use this myself. It's a separate browser that does a surprisingly good job of blocking ads on the sites I visit.

Thanks for the links. I download dolphin browser it has ad block and block pop ups it gets the job done.
