Hello. I have inspired many of my classmates to buy and hack the ipod touch. I have never programed in unix and i only daubed in C++ writing viruses and keyloggers and such. I was woundering if it is phsicaly possible to write code that will allow two or more ipods to connect together and talk via text or maybe even drawings without a wireless access point. any insight would be helpful. This will be my big project for this year.

i dont know much about programming so i cant help you, but thats a great idea, and i hope you can find a way.
