My wife plays a game that will generate an ad by feeding a pop up using Safari. To eliminate the ad/Safari pop up, she switches her phone from wifi to cellular and the ads go away. Conclusion is that some function in the cellular mode prevents the pop up. I tried to figure out how to prevent the ads while using wifi but have not yet succeeded. I installed a content blocker and I turned off pop up in Safari. I'm not sure what else I can do and am perplexed as to how the ads are suppressed using cellular (t-mobile) and not on wifi. Any ideas on how best to proceed?

More than likely you have opted-in or turned on T-Mobile service Web Guard
