I have 3 places in my house with cables coming out which I use to charge by iphone 12 and my ipad. I know the new 12 in ipad pro uses a different charging cable.
IS there an adapter that I can plug in to my present cables which will then allow me to plug it in to the new iPAd Pro? If so, can you tell me what it is called? TIA.

The iPad Pro 12.9 5th generation comes with a usb-c charging cable and 20w adapter. What type of charging cables do you have in your house that you’re asking about?

You can buy usb-c adapters for almost any type of connection, but it might be easier to buy extra usb-c charging cables.

I have the power cube and cable that came with my iphone. Instead of also plugging in the cube and cable that came with my iPad Pro, I wondered if there was an adapter I could plug into the end of my iPhone cable that would allow me to plug it into my iPad.

You can get usb-c to lightning connector adapters, but why would you want to charge your iPad with a slower connection with a lower wattage wall charger (assuming your iPhone came with a 5w or 12w charger)? It’s best to charge your iPad with the charger and cable that came with it.

Maybe there are dual port chargers with both usb-c and lightning ports so that you can use a single outlet to charge both devices if you’re trying to avoid using both outlets to charge your devices.
