This Mashable article discusses businesses with iPhone cables for charging/docking iPhones, etc. Example given is a hotel with iDevice-compatible alarm clocks. Problem is, the hotel owner is now considering buying adapters for every alarm clock for those with the Lightning connector.
Now I thought this was pretty clear, but I guess not.. Aren't you buying an adapter per PHONE, not per connector that it can potentially be connected to?
Sure, some people may buy two for convenience, but I'm sure as hell not buying one for car cable, one for bedroom cable, one for office cable, one for stereo dock, etc. This applies to the hotel, I would expect.
So are businesses really considering this? Shouldn't they (reasonably) expect iPhone 5 users to have the adapter? Or would you expect businesses to have an adapter for you to use?
