Hi, a few days ago on Amazon I bought the Wavlink adapter. Installed on a macmini late 2012 with Macos Catalina, latest Realtek drivers installed. It works great. Unfortunately, however, at a certain point it is as if it stops working, the download speed drops to about 500mbps (when it works it is 2300mbps).
However, I understood where the problem arises. Basically when the macmini wakes up from sleep mode sometimes the ethernet network goes to 2.5g sometimes to less than 500mbps. For example, if he wakes up and goes to 500mbps, I make him go to a stop again, wake him up and goes to 2.5g. So that's the problem. But I can't always leave the macmini 24h active!
How could I solve? What could I come up with to bypass the problem?

If it's a "sleep-related" problem, I suggest that you DON'T put the Mini "to sleep".
At all.

Instead, put the DISPLAY to sleep.
Leave the Mini "awake, but idling".

You can either set a screensaver for the display, or just reach up and turn it off if you're going to be away for a while.

The difference in the Mini's power consumption between "sleeping" and "awake, but idling" is so small as to be almost nothing at all.

No promises that this will work.
But I think it's worth a try.
