adaptive transparency on AirPods Pro 2, do you keep it enabled or disabled?

Does having this enabled have any known negative effects? I use my AirPods Pro 2 on transparency mode almost all of the time but I’m curious as to what does adaptive transparency do exactly and whether it should stay enabled
