So when an ad pops up I copy its URL and then open ADP's Preferences and click "Add Filter" and paste the ad's URL in it. However, I realized that often the same pop up will pop out again the next time I visit that site.

Why? How can I kill those pop-ups forever??

I use safari ad blocker it gets rid of everthing ads on hulu youtube etc no ads and the websites arent messed up + it works in safari 4

I'm talking Firefox here.

ad server might vary the random parameters in the url in the desperate attempt to escape the adblocker, you can make wildcard match at certain places, can you bring the site up and post back the url of the ad you are trying to block?

Ok, I'll start posting all the links (when I encounter them again) that pop-up again on the next visit to that site...
