Guis, how much more discount ADC gives over a regular Student discount on a default configuration of a new Mac Pro, dual CPU? Is it still 20% vs 10%?

ADC seems to be 20%

I just ordered mine today. With the ADC discount, I saved about $800. Even if you figure that the ADC Select is $499, that's still an extra $300 savings from the business store pricing.

it depends where you are, the UK Higher Education store gives 16% off without the hassle of ADC... I decided to hold off with the ADC and try to use it to get snow leopard cheap ;)

For a Mac Pro setup, ADC discount is -20% for everything in your setup/BTO options except monitors which are -10%.

adc is only worth it for like mac pros and macbook pros, i believe with the imacs and macbooks its the same as the student discount, so get the adc discount

apple developer connection.
It's for software developers and IT professionals, you have to pay for a yearly membership from apple($500/yr for basic and $3500 for premiere). You get discounts on hardware and tech support you wouldn't get without the membership, along with other benefits.

Thanks for clarifying this. :)

So a person from a non-developer/IT background can't apply for this?

and student membership is £59/$99... which I think is what most of us were talking about

I don't believe that you can link directly to the ADC store. The link works for me, but I have an activated account.

You can link to the page right before it and have people click the link into the store for it to work.

I know it sounds weird but I was also able to access the store and see prices using that exact same direct link way before purchasing an ADC Select membership.

Anyone can see the prices(I think). I just direct linked it and you have to use the click trough.
