ADC question

Hi
I have a question about ADC.
I myself am not a student. But my brother is and he already has a mac.
Can I have him join ADC and order the MP for me?
I am guessing yes, but then if i have to take the MP in for having it fixed under AppleCare, will there be a problem since it will have been purchased under my brother's name? Or do i have to have it transferred to my name first?

I would have him transfer your name over to AppleCare if his name is on the AppleCare contract.

The ADC Agreement says:

"You may not resell or otherwise transfer any items purchased for a period of at least one year from the date of shipment."

So technically it'd have to be under his name for a year then he can officially transfer to your name. But even if it's under his name the "Geniuses" are usually pretty cool, don't foresee you having a problem.

I graduate next year which is when my little bro starts college, will definitely be doing some of that... haha
