ADC Student Package Purchase/Activation

Does an ADC Student membership need to be activated for and by the same person who purchases it? Also, does the hardware need to be purchased on a credit card in the Membership bearer's name?

Well, the owner of the ADC membership is the only person who can purchase via the developer store which is what you would do. I don't think it would matter what card you use as long as it's in the ADC members name. If it's not it might raise some red flags.

no, you can purchase and register someone else ie gift. Also the purchasing credit card can also be in your (the gift givers) name.

It just has to be registered under the student

Okay, do you mean the purchasing credit card for the membership package?

Do you think that that someone else's card could be used for the discount as well?

It's my discount but I don't have a credit card of my own. Thanks.
